Transfer Vehicle Title

Ready to sell your junk car, but not sure how to transfer a car title? You Call We Haul is here to answer all your vehicle title transfer questions! When you sell your car using You Call We Haul or donate it using our Car Donation Wizard, you’ll have to transfer your title.

To transfer your title, there are two things you’ll have to do: sign the title and fill in the purchaser or buyer. You will sign as the seller. Be sure to sign your title with the name that is printed on the front. If your full name, middle initial, etc. is listed, you should sign and print as the seller in the same way. The title must be signed by all parties that are listed as owners. No liens should be listed. If there is a lien listed, the release from the bank must be signed on the title or on an accompanying document. When transferring your title, use black or blue ink only and do not cross anything out, as your title will become void.
