Frequently Asked Questions
What does You Call We Haul do?
You Call We haul is the nation’s most reliable vehicle removal service. We haul away your vehicle fast – for free – and pay you the offer you accepted.
How do you compare to similiar services?
We work with a national network of trusted buyers who place live bids on your vehicle after considering its location, condition, and status. Once you get an offer, you can accept, decline, or negotiate it.
Don’t get duped into giving your junk car to a service that uses an algorithm to give you a fixed, low, instant price. Choose You Call We Haul and connect with people, not computers.
Will you buy my junk car?
We buy all kinds of vehicles – used, damaged, or even non-functioning – as long as they can be towed. That includes cars, trucks, wagons, sport utility vehicles, hybrids, and even some motorhomes and boats!
Will my junk car be recycled?
Over 95% of junk cars we pick up are sustainably recycled if they are deemed unsafe for the roads. When our customers replace their old vehicles with efficient new models, they’re helping the environment by reducing pollution from carbon emissions.
If you’re interested in reducing your carbon footprint and recycling your car for the environment, check out the SHiFT Vehicle Retirement Initiative® at SHiFT4Tomorrow.org
How long will it take?
Most vehicle owners receive their offer within 1-2 business days. If you have any questions about vehicle pickup, you can email us at YCWH@YouCallWeHaul.com or call us at 1-866-771-JUNK (5865) and we will be happy to assist you.
What if I don't like the offer?
Once we send you an offer from one of our buyers, you’ll have the option to negotiate. We know selling your vehicle can be stressful, so we never add pressure to accept the offer right away.
How do I get paid?
Our buyer will inspect your vehicle at the scheduled pickup time, check the title, and pay you on the spot. It’s that simple!
How do I transfer my title?
While the title transfer process can vary by state, typically, you must complete the section of the title labeled “assignment of title by owner” or “transfer of ownership by seller”. There may be one or more sections of the title dedicated to “Dealer Reassignments”, and those should be left blank.
In the “assignment of title by owner” or similar section, any fields that require information about the seller/owner/transferor are asking for information about you. When the title asks for the sellers name, you would either print or sign your name exactly as it appears on the title where you are listed as the owner. Most states require that all owners listed on the title must print and sign their name when transferring ownership.
Any fields that require information about a buyer/purchaser/transferee are asking for information about the person you are selling the vehicle to. This section should never, under any circumstances, be left completely blank as this can lead to abuses and liability for you. Please be sure to discuss this part with the buyer before pickup so you can be sure to fill it out and sign it over to them properly.
Please visit our Title Help Page for more information and to find state-specific title examples and additional support.
What if I can't locate my title?
Most states will require a transferable proof of ownership document when selling your car. Each state has different requirements as far what this means. i.e. a title, bill of sale, or an alternate legal form. If you are unable to apply for a duplicate title or obtain any documentation, we can still attempt to sell your vehicle. You will just need to work with the buyer to discuss what they can accept for proof of ownership documentation.
